My choice photo Analysis
DESCRIPTION: This photo shows a lady writing up music notes , The picture was taken behind the glass door so the lady is faced backwards to the photographer. You can see the reflection of outside life in the glass door which I think looks very interesting. This picture was taken during summer in Poland.
AESTHETICS: This photo shows very neutral colours like white, black and shades of cream and black. You can also see some shades of green in the glass reflection. I think it really suits the photo because it gives you the felling of an everyday life. The photo also creates a very calm soothing mood that almost puts you in the position as the person in the photo.This photo was taken by using the Sony Alpha 300.
MEANING: For me the meaning of the photo is to show the link between natural life and doing something in your everyday life. I think this because lots of things that you do everyday you need the natural lifestyle for it like daylight and nature. This photo creates the emotion and feeling of feeling very calm and relaxed, it is not very busy which I also like because you can clearly focus on the meaning of the photo rather then the details of the whole photo. This photo shows a great contrast and focus using natural daylight which makes the photo look very natural and beautiful. The best part of the photo for me is the glass reflection because it creates a sense of movement and links to what she is doing because it seems to link perfectly to the lifestyle.
PERSONAL RESPONSE: Overall, I really like this photo because of the glass reflection and of the clam mood it creates. I also like it because it links to our project because it is showing daylight and reflections. Another thing I like about this photo is that the person is not posing but is acting very naturally like she didn't know there was someone taking a photo of her which makes it more meaningful because she didn't have to pose and it made the photo look busy without any detail.
